Charles and Ursula Florenza create the Florenza company.

The concentricity gauge (A.V.C 7) is first patented in France, and later on, in Europe. Other gauges are patented over the years.
For the first time, we studied, designed and manufactured a specific dimensional metrology gauge for a customer.
Creation of Design Office.
Creation of Export Department and beginning of the one-year Lean Production Programme (LPG).
Implementation of Computer Aided Management and Manufacturing.
Florenza obtains the Prize of Industrial Performance further to its participation to the LPG programme.
ISO 9001:2000 Certification to be obtained by the end of 2004.
